Wow! What a show. I really enjoyed Joe’’s performance and his swagga attire for the evening. Sharp white tuxedo coat and black pants just the right attire for right the ambiance. I think all the ladies and even a few men could have listened to him all night, which brings me to Angie Stone and my fellow Houstonians.
I will always have love for Angie but I”m very disappointed in my local radio station KMJQ/Majic 102.1 FM, which failed to announce her right before she walked out and to my Houstonians’ who left shortly after she began her performance. It was embarrassing to say the least. For those of us who stayed and had the listening pleasure of hearing some of her greatest hits and to see her bring all of the fine men of Texas onto the stage as she performed “Brotha” was a sheer delight. Thanks, Joe and Angie for an evening of soul. Angie I hope you’re feeling better…
